Losing weight is not only healthy but it could save you money. If you have a Health Savings Account (HSA) or Flexible Spending Account (FSA or Flex) through your provider, Thinique Medical Weight Loss services may be covered.
Here’s What You’ll Need To Know.
Check Your Plan for Reimbursements
Check your plan to determine if medical weight loss program fees are reimbursable. Keep in mind that you must still qualify for the reimbursement, so please move on to Step 2.
Check Your Body Mass Index
Click on the link below to check your Body Mass Index (BMI). If you BMI is 30 or greater, talk with your doctor about starting a medical weight loss program.
Download Letter of Necessity
Download the Letter of Medical Necessity and take it to your doctor. If your doctor determines that you have a weight-related medical condition, ask him/her to fill out and sign the form, then submit it with your program receipt(s) to your insurance provider.

After your initial visit, you will have weekly visit fees that are manageable even without assistance. The best part about the Thinique program is that there are no pre-packaged meals to buy and no fad diets. We teach to how to eat healthy with fresh foods you can purchase at your grocery store, provide meal plans for each phase of your weight loss, and even have meal plans for diabetics and vegetarians.
At each weekly visit, your Thinique™ Health Coach and Medical Assistants will monitor, discuss and support your progress and provide you with an individual meal plan based on your progress.
